The Uromastyx lizard pictured above was mounted by Evelyn Mills of Texas. The reptile was awarded a blue ribbon at the 2004 National Taxidermists Association Convention in Huntsville, Alabama in July and went on to be awarded the National Champion-Reptile at their awards ceremony at the convention conclusion.
Evelyn used the tamp method on this specimen. Vermiculite was used in the body and tail, clay in the legs, and joints, and Epoxy Sculpt in the head area.
